Our Story

 A family run business

We're proud to be a family-run business owned and operated by Brad and Kim Freeman. Along with our two young kids, we call the town of Midsomer Norton in North East Somerset our home.

Our passion for the great outdoors, exploration, and connecting with nature led us on a quest to find the perfect bags to accompany us on our adventures. We found that many bags claiming to be waterproof simply didn't live up to their promises. While dry bags worked well for multi day hiking trips, they were too much for the everyday.

We also realised that there was a need for diverse carrying options beyond just backpacks. So, we began researching various designs and alternatives, exploring the possibilities of thigh bags and waist pack and we launched our first series of waterproof bags in 2022.

Now, we're thrilled to share our functional, durable and waterproof bags with everyone. Welcome to the Fuzpig family!

Fully Biodegradable Products

In the beginning, our primary focus was on creating highly waterproof bags. We chose PVC for our first batch because of its strength, durability, and excellent water resistance. Although the PVC we used had various certifications to make it more environmentally friendly, it still wasn't biodegradable, and we knew we needed to do better.

After some experiments we are switching to TPU, it's a fantastic material that we now fuse onto polyester to create our bags. This combination results in a durable, completely waterproof, and food-safe fabric that is also fully biodegradable within 3 to 5 years. As we restock our inventory, we're replacing all our PVC products with TPU alternatives.
